Silverin Bajawa

Silverin is a very good accommodation, it has a very nice and cozy resting area with a great view(if it's not raining :)). If you come with a scooter, it's great, because it's located on the main road, just outside Bajawa. You can easily drive to town in 5 minute for lunch, dinner and other stuff. If you come by bus, it's a little bit more complicated. If you are comfortable with riding a bike, you can rent a scooter and you really need it if you want to visit the attractions(Todo village, Wolobobo and Avatar view points, etc). If you want to hike mount Inerie, you can arrange a guide(I really recommend one). Breakfast is great - the best fried rice, coffe and fruits. Nothing more, nothing less - we stayed there twice, on the way to Maumere from Labuan Bajo and back.

Friendly and helpful staff.

Rooms are relatively standard, medium-sized with comfortable, larger beds, small, ensuite bathroom, large windows, and with small desks and limited storage space. The electrical and wifi are good. Basic breakfast is included. The big plus at this place is the building itself, with huge, showy terraces loaded with character furniture and with fantastic views at the back, probably one of the best places to hang out in town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is set outside of town, on the main island highway, and next to the road that runs south to the traditional villages. So the location could be an advantage, depending on your plans. Scooter rental is available here.

The front rooms get a lot of noise from the main road.
