Chamba Nest

Great offbeat destination for a perfect weekend getaway. If you want to chill and relax it's the perfect place. Great view of snow clad mountains from surkanda devi temple which was nearby. Water sports were also available at Tehri dam which approx 20-25 mins from the stay. Overall a good experience.

Food was great but some items could have been made better.

Tea arrangements should be provided in the room. There should be two side tables with the bed

The location and the 2 caretakers(1 cook) they were amazing.

The flush on the top floor is as good as no flush as the tank is on the same level. You'd have to manually fill the bucket of water for flushing. But I'm being nitpicky here.

Everything! Do yourself a favour escape the bustling city and come out into nature. If your a motorbike rider chamba and smaller towns is the place to ride! As soon as i booked, was contacted via whatsapp regarding time, location. The caretaker and chef are the greatest hosts, amazing food, almost too good😋 Location is top notch, room, hot shower perfect 2 day getaway.

Everything! the place, food and the service!

Loved the location of the property. It is off the highway but away enough for it to feel so peaceful. It is surrounded by beautiful hills and places to walk. The forest behind the property was the highlight, makes for a beautiful walk. The place has three rooms, one upstairs and two below. We had friends who were staying in the upstairs room with their dog and the other room was empty so we had the place to ourselves. We went with two of our dogs and they loved the place. The staff was pet-friendly and indulged our dogs who shamelessly went and parked themselves in front of the kitchen area. We stayed for one night, and after that we really wanted to extend our stay for another night but unfortunately the rooms were booked. The food they made was great, and they made it to our specifications (less spicy). Overall, we had a beautiful weekend stay and would definitely like to visit again.

Maybe if the other rooms are taken by other people, the property may feel a little crowded, specially if you take dogs.
