We had all day meals there and could not have asked for better food with family. Had nice time taking to Ameya & his father (our host at Forest casa) about near-by places & their house garden. One should learn eco-friendly ways of waste management and plantation at Forest casa

Ameya was great host right from the start. He shared the food menu over whatsapp and we ordered lunch before we set out from home. His mother needs 2hr prep time for meals. The food was delicious and as requested since we have a toddler. The kitchen was pushing hot food as we ate, and both Ameya and his father were very helpful. There were board games to keep us occupied and we could also play our own music over the blue tooth speaker in the dining hall. My son wanted "Wheels on the bus" and other nursery rhymes, thankfully we were the only family around

The bed linen was wet when we got into the room. Ameya sorted it out quickly with new sheets as it was a copious amount of anti-bac spray routine they followed since Covid

This is a family owned and operated stay, with all the amenities of a hotel!! We were so thrilled to avoid an overdeveloped "resort." All the meals were fresh, super tasty and home cooked. We avoided restaurant style dishes, but preferred local Maharashtrian fare. Portions were hugely generous. We even had a delicious modak package to take home! The property is an amazing nature haven, with fruit and coconut trees and an amazing vegetable and spice garden, close to forests, beautiful Kashid beach and the Phansad wildlife sanctuary. The More family were warm, friendly, excellent hosts, along with Elsa the dog and the lovely cat! Ideas for further enrichment: (1) include guided nature walks in the morning or evening (2) offer participatory gardening, cooking or art experiences!

We missed the point on the written menu to make an early order (2h wait) on the first day. Best if this information is given in person.
