Forest casa is family run business, and they are very nice people. Ameya was very friendly and helping us to find out location to visit and arranging dinner. Overall, it was enjoyable stay. The greenery around the premise was good. The food was good. There was parking available.

This is not related to my stay, but the roads were not good. From Murud to Kashid and further few kilometers are very bumpy and not smooth. So, if the connectivity improves then it will be helpful for visitors.

The place is located just on the edge of the bird/wildlife sanctuary and around 1.2 km from the nearest beach entry point. About the stay, we were in one of the rooms of the cottage which houses 6 rooms independent of each other. Very neat and clean and the interiors are very nicely done. The verandah and entry decor is tasteful, the variety of plants and trees in their small plot is also very nice. The food was excellent and we enjoyed sea food and vegetarian food. The food is served in a separate dining area atop an elevated sitout. Although we stayed for 1 night it was very comfortable and we went out and enjoyed the beach which is like a 3-4 mins drive from the place. I do a bit of wildlife photography and the area had quite a few birds which I captured in my early morning stroll near the house. Special Thanks to Amey and his Dad for the hospitality. I wish we had booked for more days to stay here, but would definitely recommend it for families who want to enjoy peace and solitude away from the crowded areas.

Nothing much to comment here, we didn't expect much and were pleasantly surprised with what we saw, got and felt. Hope this was helpful.
