Local Beach Homestay

Such a cute little Homestay where the family couldn’t do enough for you! The beach area which is a couple of minutes walk away is quiet and beautiful and you can order lovely cocktails and food to there.

The location of Local Beach Homestay is absolutely perfect — just a short walk to the beach, which made our stay very convenient and enjoyable. The host family is incredibly kind and supportive, always ready to help whenever we needed anything.

However, the facilities could use more maintenance. The bathroom was quite dark and had an unpleasant smell that could spread into the bedroom if the door was left open. The air conditioner wasn’t very effective; although the host tried to fix it, we still had a rather uncomfortable first night. There’s also a small kitchen next to our room, but it was not well-kept — we wanted to use a bowl for pho, but it was too dirty to use. Additionally, the pillows were quite flat and of low quality. With some improvements to the cleanliness and basic amenities, this place could be much better, especially given its great location and warm hospitality.

Perfect quiet location. - a minutes walk to the beach, ten minute taxi ride to Hoi An. Accomodation was spotless, spacious and bed was super comfortable. The family were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Hien arranged trips and transportation for us. Breakfasts and lunches were freshly cooked and delicious with lots of choice. We loved staying here and would 100% recommend.

Like: tile floor; spacious room and bathroom; clean; wooden towel/clothes hooks in bathroom; outside terrace has table and 2 chairs and a cozy couch/bench; mosquito net - used every night; large container of bottled water to refill reusable water bottle; shower has hot water and strong pressure; able to park our rented motorbike; ocean is about a 2 minute walk away down a path; lamps on each side of bed; outlets on each side of bed; air freshener is a dish of lemongrass oil heated by a candle; you can order breakfast and eat on your terrace; real plants in room; fan in room and on terrace; clean towels everyday if you want; lounge chairs and umbrella to use on beach

many mosquitoes inside room; no chairs inside room; can easily hear other people talking - we like more privacy and quiet; terrace faces concrete wall of next building (photos on booking.com did not accurately reflect this) - advertised a garden view; can't hear or see ocean from our room; people staying upstairs walk right by our room - we are facing a walkway; description says "English-speaking staff at the 24-hour front desk", but that wasn't true consistently; A/C unit directly over bed

Our room was spacious and well equipped. The location was superb. We could walk everywhere we needed to in An Bang. The beach is a short stroll down a quiet laneway where they have sun lounges and umbrellas for your use. The staff were extremely helpful and arranged seamless transfers to and from Danang airport.

There were no outdoor seating of tables and chairs in the garden as depicted in the photos on Bookings.com.
