Local Beach Homestay

Very close to the beach incl. seats, close to the big street with restaurants and bars. Only 15 min by car/bike to the old town. You can also use their bikes to drive around the rice fields. The biggest point was that the stuff was so so helpful! They were assisting with car bookings, even tickets for train, and everything was so welcoming. We loved it here.

The room is a bit humid.

I was in a group of 9 people and booked 5 rooms for two days well in advance. However, one day before the check in, the owner texted me via WhatsApp saying that she couldn’t receive us because the property was under maintenance and the weather was not good (despite it was sunny). This is extremelly unprofessional and put us in a complicated situation since it is not easy to overnight find another hotel for 9 people. It was an extremelly disappointing experience, plus the owner did not cancel the booking and said that we did not show up.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The property is only 100m away from the beach, located in a quiet area of An Bang beach (no big resorts). The host is very friendly and helpful. The food from their restaurant was delicious.

This was the best accommodation of our 7 week trip so far! First of all, it is a true homestay (unlike most places which are more like hotels). The rooms/bungalows are in the garden of the family‘s home. They are such nice people and really made us feel welcome! For breakfast you have a lot of options to choose from (Banh Mi, pancakes, smoothies etc.), it is served to you on your terrace and was always tasty. Our room was cleaned everyday and the laundry service was really quick and for a reasonable price. The homestay is located just a 2 minute walk down to the beach. There are chairs and umbrellas you can use and even order drinks to the beach. The area around offers a lot of restaurants and bars but has a more laid back vibe than the old town of Hoi An, which we really enjoyed (to the city center it is just a 10 minutes motorbike ride).

We absolutely loved this place! Our 2 villas were beautifully designed with everything you'd need in the rooms and bathrooms, with the bonus of outside space for dining, cooking and a lovely daybed. All surrounded by lush garden. We were a minute's walk from the beach which was great. When we arrived we received such a friendly warm welcome from Hoang, who shared lots of information about days trips etc. He and his family were all such lovely friendly, helpful people who helped make our stay so special.
