Aaruush is great, such a welcoming person into their home and better than any concierge I’ve experienced. Great tips and advice just a WhatsApp away. Location is great and an easy uber tuktuk to all the food, shopping and palaces. Room in high standard, comfortable and predictable hot water. Breakfast is worth it and the homemade yogurt is to die for. 4 nights wasn’t enough to see everything we wanted to of Jaipur so we will be back.

The hot water for a shower takes a little planning as it takes 10 minutes to reheat. Not a biggie but a shock if you’re not aware.

We had a wonderful time at the homestay. The host, Aaruush, was extremely kind and welcoming. He gave us excellent advice, arranged transportation for our arrival and departure to the station, and organized a trip to Amber to visit the main site. He is the go-to person for anything you might want to do in Jaisalmer. We also really enjoyed dining at the guest house on the first night, as well as the breakfast. The food was delicious, and it’s a great way to experience homemade family-style meals, distinct from restaurant fare. The rooms were charming and clean.

The location is good, just nearby some other hotels and restaurants but too far from the pink city (center) to walk, although it is the case of most hotel.

Kalapana and Aaruush were incredibly mindful and professional hosts. They made us feel like part of their family, always prioritizing our safety and comfort. The yoga class with Kalapana was unique and engaging, offering a fresh perspective that stood out from anything we had done before, especially since we are yoga instructors ourselves! Aaruush went above and beyond by not only showing us around the city, but also taking us to local restaurants and shopping spots. When I needed assistance shipping some items I purchased, Aaruush was my main point of contact and ensured the entire process went smoothly, keeping me updated before and after the shipment arrived in Europe. If I return to Jaipur, I would absolutely stay with them again. I highly recommend their hospitality and service.

We were really pleased with the whole experience at Kalpana Homestay. The Homestay is situated in a nice quiet area and the facilities are very good. Communication was spot on, as was the check-in and out. The food, both breakfast and evening meal was very good with various options, especially breakfast, where you could have a choice of traditional or a more western style of eggs with toast. The family and staff were really helpful, especially as I didn't feel well one day and wasn't able to go for dinner, which meant my wife went alone, but they ensured she didn't eat alone. They also helped me out by rectifying a schoolboy error when booking a train for our onward journey.

Without being really picky it's quite difficult to find any fault with our experience of Kalpana Yoga Homestay.

It’s a quiet oasis in the busy city. Beautifully decorated rooms with everything you need. The hosts made us feel at home & helps us plan our stay. They also went out off their way to help surprise me with celebratory evening meal for my birthday.

Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed (wifi, AC, hot water, a kettle and filtered water), decor was beautiful as the rest of the house and the private terrace. Aarush and his mother were very kind and offered helpful advice for our itinerary throughout our stay. Breakfast and diner was also delicious.

A beautiful homestay! From the entrance, to the garden upstairs, to the patio and balcony and then the amazing spacious rooms, this place was an absolute delight to stay at! The hosts went above and beyond! Being a solo traveler I felt safe and supported. They organised my transport during the stay (both taxi and tuk tuk) as well as all of the wonderful sites to see around Jaipur. I had the pleasure of attending one of the yoga classes in the morning which was a wonderful way to stay the day, followed by a delicious breakfast that they have on offer. I would highly recommend staying here! :)
