The woman who runs the B&B is very kind and does everything she can to make you feel comfortable (although her English is limited). The location is beautiful. Even though Jiufen is very touristy and crowded, you don’t notice any of that at the B&B’s location. The breakfast is delicious and the view is stunning. The room has good facilities and everything is very clean!

The room seemed much smaller in real life, with barely any windows (just a tiny one high up). It got extremely humid at night. In the morning, the entire floor was wet. Make sure to set the air conditioning to 'dehumidify'!

The location is 30 seconds away from a bus stop. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The room had a nice Japanese style toilet. The host didn't speak much English, but was very friendly and quick to use translation apps.

Wonderful view, a short hike down some stairs from Old Street and managed by the kindest woman imaginable.

The room described as the room with city view. In reality it had no window, just little opening under the ceiling, which was locked. So, no window, no daylight, no fresh air.

The shower drain was clogged and there was no microwave to reheat the breakfast

Great home stay. The room is clean & comfort. The owner is very friendly & helpful. The Japanese toilet bowl is really unxpected to see inside the home stay👍👍
