Night Sea Homestay

We had a wonderful stay in Jiufen. The accommodation is perfectly located, only a few minutes away from the old street!

It was quiet even thpugh it's next to the street. It's close to the bus stop.

Smell from drains in the morning, duvet (under it it's too hot, on it it's too cold), breakfast (it's just a take-away)

The room size and the balcony was good and convenient to buses and old street.

The room stunk so badly of cigarette and my daughter got a headache. Was almost impossible to sleep in with the smell. Staff tried to say it was the smoke from the street but this was so bad it was as if the curtains and bathroom had permanent smoke smell. Not compensated for knowing how bad it was

The management of the accommodation was good, the manager waited us to arrive. Moreover, it gives me a homey feel, with refillable drinks and snacks. Friendly staff. The view at the 星空 room is facing half the mountain and half seaview. There is also a lovely balance where I spent my breakfast. Worth the steep walk up the stairs.

Just the long steep stairs at the entrance, which it was bound to be as the house/flat was built on the mountains. A suggestion will be to put a note at the introduction of this accommodation at the website.
