Morning breakfast was healthy and good.

I recently stayed at Serene Waters Homestay, but unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. There was no electricity for the entire day, which meant basic amenities like AC, WiFi, and TV were not available. This made the stay very uncomfortable, especially considering the weather. Additionally, the timings and rules were quite strict and felt inconvenient compared to other homestays. What was even more confusing was that they allowed ordering food from outside, but refused to provide basic plates or utensils, which didn’t make much sense. Overall, the lack of essential facilities and rigid policies made the experience far from relaxing. I would not recommend this place unless these issues are addressed.

The manager of the place made me feel unwelcome.. his attitude and way of dealing with customer was very cold. The host is super chill and kind.

L'accueil chaleureux de Jacqueline et son mari. Adorable tous les deux. La cuisine est excellente. La propriété superbement décorée, colorée et la terrasse sur lagune sont a couper le souffle.

La chambre aveugle et tristounette en rez de chaussée. Le matelas très inconfortable et aussi le fait d'être isolé et d'avoir systématiquement besoin d'un taxi pour mettre le nez dehors.

We had a wonderful stay at Serene Waters Homestay in Panjim. The property truly lives up to its name — calm, peaceful and beautifully located right beside a flowing river, surrounded by nature. Waking up to the gentle sound of water and birds made the entire experience incredibly relaxing. A special mention to Jacqueline who was extremely warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Her hospitality made us feel right at home. The property is managed by Benjamin and Benny, who were equally friendly, attentive and always ready to help with anything we needed. The food was delicious and homely, adding to the comfort of the stay. Whether it was sitting by the river, enjoying the quiet surroundings, or simply unwinding in the peaceful atmosphere, the whole experience felt refreshing and memorable. If you’re looking for a calm, scenic stay near Panjim away from the usual crowds but still close enough to everything, Serene Waters Homestay is a fantastic choice. We truly enjoyed the hospitality and would happily return again.

Amazing location, waterside. Serene and peaceful watching nature at its best. Kingfishers , kytes, cormorants, flying fish and a family of 6 otters. Host Jacqueline, Manager Benny, Raj, his wife and sister, they were all so attentive and helpful,made our stay perfect. Nothing too much trouble. Room clean and facilities adequate. Food excellent. Served in a professional manner. Used goa mile taxis to visit local attractions . Thank you all for a wonderful stay. We will definitely return and recommend to others.
