Hospedaje Picoyo

A nice looking place with a good kitchen. Unfortunately our five night stay was ruined a bit by multiple factors. First, the 'staff'. There is a rather odd guy staying in one of the rooms, who seemingly works for the owner, as he's explaining things to new guests and doing odd jobs around the place. His presence felt rather strange, and it was as if he was constantly checking what we were doing and if we weren't breaking anything. The owner herself seemed nice, if a bit detached, until the day we had to check out. We had asked if we could stay around for a few more hours after check out time, until we had to leave. This was fine. However, when we were making some lunch in the kitchen she started telling us off, that we couldn't use any facilities anymore because we were checked out, not even the toilet. A really odd and inhospitable way to treat guests, especially guests that have been here for five nights and just want to wait a few hours until their bus. Lastly, the floors squeak a lot and the walls are extremely thin, so you can hear what everyone else is doing all the time. The neighbours were also talking loudly on their balcony (which is right next to some of the rooms) until late every night we stayed here and had zero consideration for guests that are trying to sleep.

Clean, kitchen well equipped, distance to bus terminal and center doable by foot.

Room next to common bathroom in combination with thin walls. Felt a bit overpriced.

Lina and her partner were nice and the place is well located (only a 15min. walk from the center of Pucon)

The room was basic, but clean. It's not soundproof though, but luckily the other guests were respectful. However, I booked a bit last minute, and I think I paid a bit too much for this room.

Good distance from city center. The manager was a great.

Not super central, but in walking distance to bus terminal/ shops etc
