พอดีทริปที่ไปช่วงก่อนปีใหม่เจอกรุ๊ปใหญ่ มาปาร์ตี้ปีใหม่ ด้วยความที่มันเงียบ เสียงเลยดังมาก กว่าจะนอนหลับก็เกือบ 5 ทุ่ม (พอเงียบ ก็เลยได้หลับ) ไม่ได้อยากอะไร เพราะเข้าใจว่าก็มาสังสรร แต่ก็น่ะ ด้วยสถานที่ คนจำนวนนึงคือมาหาความสงบ ไม่ใช่ต้องการเสียงดังรบกวน เจ้าของที่พักบอกว่าปกติจะไม่ค่อยมี แนะนำให้มาพักช่วงที่ไม่ใช่เทศกาลจะดีเยี่ยม

The bathroom was a bit cramped.

The homestay is well-built and beautiful - the views are breathtaking. The owners and staff are super friendly and helpful people, who showed real interest in me and my experience, and they make excellent, real Thai food. There is WiFi, parking, and laundry service available.

These are not negatives necessarily, just things to keep in mind: the homestay lies on a hill, with some very steep roads leading to it. We placed stones in front of the car's wheels when parking it, for safety. Make sure you are OK with that, and realize that it is a 15-20 minute drive to get anywhere. Please be patient in communicating with the staff, as they don't speak a lot of English (but are learning!)

Soothing beauty 🪷 We witnessed one of the best sunrises of our lives. The hotel is located on a mountain overlooking a lake in a beautiful gorge. A ringing silence mingles with the sounds of the tropical jungle. The hotel has several small bungalows. They're budget-friendly, but everything is very neat and clean. The grounds are very well-maintained. The owners put their heart and soul into the hotel, probably because this hotel is not just their life's work, but their home. Rooms vary in size and view. We rented bungalow M1, and the view was excellent. I imagine the bungalows on the lower level would also have a great view. There's a steep climb up to the hotel. At the top, in the dead-end street, there's room to turn around. Parking is limited, but it should be enough for the number of bungalows. Breakfast is included. Lunch and dinner can also be ordered at the hotel. All terraces have large tables, perfect for gatherings. But it seems like there is no point, because the vibe of this place is completely different: to be in silence and unity with yourself and nature.
