Mecong Homestay

The homestay is only accessible by scooter or bike which is so pleasant! It is surrounded by coconut trees and flowers. Cuong is really nice and he is so helpful, he helped us booking our bus ticket back to HCM and took us to the pick up point. The communication was great and the breakfast was good to start the day. I 100% recommend

Calm place for relax, do the yoga, surrounding palm trees, free water, free bikes, very good internet, good breakfast, delicious and huge porcion dinner. I like it very much :)

The super warm hospitality, amazing food (she even let me watch as she cooked and told me what everything was), and the free use of bikes.

It was pretty noisy with neighbors singing karaoke but I'm pretty sure that was only because we came during Tet.

the kindness of the people here is amazing. the mother was heping when we had question and sometimes more . She was so sweet !

The Mekong homestay is a peaceful place in the nature. The host is amazing, she really cares about you! And the food was delicious :) The host helped us organising our transfers, the Mekong tour they offer is very nice and the bicycles were free to use. She had always a smile on and was happy to explain us some nice stuff about Vietnam (using google translate)!

We enjoyed our stay very much from the beginning until the end. The neighbourhood and the homestay are so peaceful and lovely. The room was simple but very clean and comfortable. We especially loved the garden and the food. We did a half day cycling and rowing boat tour and it was simply stunning. Cuong and his mother are super lovely and made us feel like part of the family. We would come back any time (and will soon, hopefully) and can just recommend to everyone reading this to stay here for as long as possible.

Nothing, everything was perfect for us

The family is amazing, so friendly and helpful. The mum is cooking delicious feasts in the evening and lovely breakfast. Free water The room was spacious and clean. Lots of showers and toilets You can use bicycles for free and discover the area. It's a really nice way of seeing the countryside. And you can be in town in less than 10min on the bikes. It's a very lively place. Lovely market and cafe by the river. I could have stayed longer! They booked my bus for me and drove me to the pick-up. There also picked me up at my bus when I arrive. 5 stars service

Curơng was incredible in assisting us in how to get from HCMC, picking us up and organising anything we asked for. His mother made beatiful breakfast and coffees.

While appreciating that it is a Homestay it was quite noisy late at night from the neighbour adjacent to the room.

Use of the bicycles. Breakfast was okay.

Prior reviews called the bathrooms “rustic”. We would call them a bit below rustic. The bathroom locks were difficult to operate. Only 1 of 5 stalls had hot water. Cleanliness was just okay. The neighbor’s noise was really bad (early morning thru evening). Their tv was blasting children’s programs so loud you couldn’t enjoy the sitting/eating area. Very surprised that most prior feedback gave this homestay such a high rating.
