Large cosy room in G3

A good location owner was helpful welcoming and friendly. Except when I inadvertently had a shower without asking. Fortunately I could not understand an outpouring of Scottish anger. Telling me once and me apologising should have been enough.

Unfortunately I was badly affected by the cigarette smoke and allergic effects of two very large dogs fed and often present immediately outside my room , a cat and a turtle the latter bedded in my room. I needed high dose antihistamines and asthma medicine. If I had known the owner was a smoker I would not have booked. Overall the flat smelt of animals and tobacco and the entrance lobby was very run down and depressing.

Anastasia was very friendly, helpful, and extremely obliging. She is informal, and this creates a relaxed atmosphere. Her home has fascinating decor and she has created a unique blend of the artistic, the quirky and the stylish. The flat is just 5-6 minutes' walk from the Kelvingrove Art Gallery, on the bus route from the city centre, and easy to find from the bus stop. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. I used hardly any of the breakfast facilities because I had a busy programme during my stay. The bathroom had an excellent shower, although the basin was quite small.

Although I very much recommend Anastasia's accommodation and would like to stay there again one day, it would be less suitable for someone who is allergic to, or doesn't like, dogs, a cat and a tortoise! The flat is well-located near the Kelvingrove, but does require a bus journey from Glasgow Central railway station - and as an English bus pass owner, (these are not valid in Scotland!) and used to free bus travel, it was rather a shock to discover what non-pensioners have to pay for bus fares these days! But the journey was easy, straightforward and worth it.

Great cozy place to stay. The hostess is really friendly, the room is big and comfortable. Walking distance to the OVO Hydro which makes it ideal for anyone looking for a place to crash after a show. As a bonus there was a little turtle called Pistachio chilling in the room when i stayed who i go to feed lettuce to!

The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, offering a true Glaswegian welcome upon arrival. The drinks flowed, and the evening was relaxed and enjoyable. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep and the bathroom very clean. Though not accustomed to being around dogs, I left feeling a little sad that I hadn’t spent more time with them—they were both so soft and affectionate. The location was excellent, with easy access to Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, Glasgow University, and just a 16-minute walk to the Riverside Museum of Transport and Technology by the Clyde.

Nothing because it is someone's personal home so it was better living conditions as expected. It is not suitable for disabled mobility limitations.
