Krishnayan Heritage

An absolute treasure. Our stay at this homestay offered a beautiful glimpse into its rich heritage. The warmth and hospitality extended to us were truly special—we were deeply touched by every flavor it offered: the elegantly curated decor, the delicious food, the ever-smiling faces of the people who hosted us, and the thoughtful details that made everything feel so personal. What was meant to be just a stopover city has now become an unforgettable memory, all because of this short but extraordinary stay.

I loved everything about this place, particularly the family who were so kind to me. I particularly enjoyed talking to Mrs Phalke who is a well informed and delightful lady. My room was beautiful and spotless. The high ceiling meant that the room stayed cool and I had no need to use the air conditioning, only the fan. The bathroom is exceptional. Breakfast was lovely and cups of coffee always forthcoming. My host could not have done more to keep me happy. It is easy to find v good places to eat locally and also a tuk tuk to anywhere in Gwalior can be found outside at a good price. This is the best place that I have stayed on this trip. I shall be returning.
