Kashmir Homestay

We stayed for a day at Kashmir Homestay.. Clean rooms with basic amenities, a kitchenette which was well stocked..hot water available throughout the day.. The highlight of the stay here were the people.. Ather and his father went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Highly approachable and accomodating hosts. It was an enjoyable stay

The location of the property is a little way off from Gulmarg.. but share taxis and cabs are easily available from the road just outside the stay

We arrived late but the host are still up and offered us tea, very warm welcoming. As a Thai group we are very satisfied with the breakfast the host family accommodated us. If I got a chance, Ill definitely visit again. Also, the room are very clean and tidy.

We loved our stay at Kashmir Homestay while visiting Gulmarg. It was a memorable experience to stay at the property. We were treated like a family. Morning walk with Uncle ji was really nice. I will definitely stay with them whenever I visit Kashmir next time.

Ather and his parents treated us like family. Gave us a tour of their house, prepared delicious food for us and had long chats with us. Our room was spacious and clean. There is even a fully stocked kitchen attached to the room and a beautiful lawn outside. Highly recommended!

Value for money indeed! I must say Kashmir Homestay will make you feel at home with their superb hospitality. The kitchen is attached with the room , they helped us arrange what so ever was required including homemade curd as well as pure cow milk for the kids. The owner is gem of a person, we had memorable conversation with the family. Great place to stay in kashmir. Keep rocking!

Mr. Ather and his family were very nice people and welcomed as like their own family, we wish the very best of health and happiness to all of them

The hosts are amazing! Athar was extremely helpful, not just when we were in Gulmarg but all throughout our Kashmir trip. Super helpful, quick and easy to communicate with, and cooperative. Could not have asked for better hosts. Their shop also has a lot of variety of takeaways from the region. Since we went there at the end of our trip, we can vouch for the fact that their prices were lower than what you'd find at other tourist spots.

I missed asking about the mattress. It was firm, which was perfect for one of us and acceptable (not the most preferred) for the other one.
