No no me gusto para nada,toda la zona es sucia No entiendo porque tiene una buena puntuación, el lugar es feo , el anfitrión solo busca sacarte dinero , en todo comisiona , los tours te los duplica de precio Tengan cuidado

Nada me gusto, la zona es súper sucia , deben aclarar que es un turismo vivencial dentro de una casa de una familia. Hicimos una reserva por 2 días y ni bien llegamos nos pareció tan feo que le pedimos cancelar una noche , ya que no nos queríamos quedar ahí y él nos canceló la reserva por booking para que pareciera que no habíamos ido y nos cobró directamente en efectivo 1 noche y 50% de la segunda noche . Habíamos tomado la suite y le pedimos que nos cobre la penalidad en una habitación más barata y no quiso.

Cet haveli est incroyable, situé dans le centre, proche de tout avec en prime un rooftop possédant une magnifique vue sur le fort et les maisons bleues. Les chambres sont grandes, propre et bien décorés, nous avons eu la chance d’avoir un petit balcon très agréable. L’hôte et sa famille sont très gentils, accueillants et disponible, il nous a organisé un tour des centres d’intérêts du centre avec un guide sans frais supplémentaires. Le petit déjeuner est top, ils nous donnent le choix entre soit un petit déjeuner continental ou indien.

This is a family-run place, and that really shows in the way they care for guests. The family is very attentive and genuinely tries to help with everything. When we had issues with our transport (our bus was cancelled), they immediately stepped in to assist, which we really appreciated. They also provided plenty of complimentary water, which was a nice touch. The room itself was good, with nice lighting and decoration, and a cute balcony facing the street. It was also surprisingly quiet. The rooftop is a highlight, offering a great view of the fort and a very relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was simple but homely, and the location is very convenient, within walking distance of many attractions.

The overall approach to service is very hands-on, which is clearly well intentioned. However, at times it can feel a bit intrusive, especially if you’re used to having more personal space. This may simply come down to cultural differences, as some travellers might appreciate this level of attention more than others.

When we arrived AJ met us and took us to the hotel. We were already off to a good start. Our rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The beds were also comfortable and large. The bathroom was a generous size and modern. There was plenty of hot water. Suraj Haveli is a family home with accomodation above. What made it special for us was the family environment. It was much more than staying in a hotel. We were made to feel like part of the family. It was one family having another as guests. Our 14 year old daughter made friends quickly with a young family member her own age and in no time she was on the back of a scooter visiting family friends. AJ couldn't do enough for us. Tips for around the town - which you'll likely need should you not want to buy extremely overpriced textiles and 'antiques'. The breakfasts were great and a great way to start the morning looking over the old town. The Mehrangarh Fort is a 15-20 min walk from the hotel - and it's not the tourist route. You can wander up the backstreet shops this way. As with many places in India I would recommend getting up early for a wander. The narrow lanes of the old town are quiet and you'll find a good chai down near the Clock Tower. I would have no hesitation in telling others to stay here.

This was a homestay but it wasn't clear to us when booking it. We arrived exhausted just wanting to relax in our room but were quizzed etc for ages in the lobby before being allowed in. As a homestay it felt awkward to know what was expected of us. Attentive until we paid then switched off from us totally which contradicted what they'd said before. Expensive in comparison with other places. .

Homestay is closed to the fort. It’s a family house where you can immerse in the culture, culinary habits on them. The children of the family are eagle to help all the time. Room has all the toiletries mentioned on the description, safe and on They have a manual lift to carry for luggages. This is a vegan homestay.
