We liked the lovely garden, birds, flowers, small pool. Very affordable. Close to the Sunday markets. The owner helped to arrange transport for is back to Hanoi.

Rooms quite basic, but comfortable. Smaller than the photos!

There is absolutely no soundproofing, you can even hear the breathing of people in the other rooms.

The host family was so kind. Such a good deal for a private room. They allowed us to store our bags for our three days trekking tour.

The owner was tremendously helpful to us - we arrived early morning having taken the overnight train from Hanoi. We asked about a taxi to the nearby market and he instantly became our tour guide to the market and other sights around the area. He was skilled with google translate and offer guidance as well as arranging our bus trip to Sa Pa.

This is a noisy town especially on Market weekends. Be prepared with earplugs if you are a light sleeper.
