Friendly. Great Indian breakfast but also do more Western style if you prefer. Always great to start with fruit in the morning! Really good recommendations about Varkala.

Location, clean, fan on balcony , good bathroom.

No oversheet on bed, duvet in this heat not necessary. Plastic chairs on balcony not good in this heat no cushions. No table on balcony. No communal sitting area outside. Western breakfast choice .no area to make your own tea or coffee as no fridge or facilities for this in room. Lack of space in breakfast area.

Nirvaan is the best place I have stayed in all my travels to India. Rekha is a wonderful host. My room was great, with a really comfortable bed, real hot water in the well equipped bathroom, lovely balcony to sit and look over the garden. Breakfast was home cooked South Indian meals, different each day, every one delicious. (Western options offered if wanted) This felt like home from the moment I walked through the door. I have visited India, and Varkala, many times and have never yet found anywhere that made me feel as relaxed, safe and happy as Nirvaan. Highly recommend.

There is nothing to dislike!

We loved our stay here, the host made us feel so welcome and the breakfasts they cooked for us were delicious. It was nice to be a bit back from the road too, it was very peaceful and homely

Great host, clean spacious room, a good variety of South Indian breakfasts and good location. As a solo traveller and my first destination on my trip to South India, I really appreciated Rekha's support both during and post my stay. Also the flexibility with breakfast (thank you for providing me with porridge!). The location of the home is great and there is a really nice warm energy with beautiful plants around the property.

Possibly a wider variety of fruits for breakfast and notifying guests that the host doesn't sleep until the last guest returns (as I wasn't aware that me returning later would impact someone's sleep!).

A peaceful and comfortable experience. The room was better than in the photos. The balcony overlooking the lawn was an added bonus. The property is very tastefully decorated. Quiet location but the beach and the cliff market are just a 2-min walk away. We were served fresh, delicious Kerala style breakfast every morning with fruits and eggs. Rekha ma'am is an excellent host. Unlike most hosts, she is actually available when you need some help. She even helped us with packed lunch for our journey back home.
