Noel's beach homestay

A really nice little property on the edge of the beach. A friendly family and clean rooms. Noel was really helpful

The family was very welcoming, helpful, and informative. They helped with arranging transport when needed and assisted us in organizing our rice boat charter.

Rooms were clean and location is best

While I did not get to stay here as it was accidentally overbooked, Noel went above and beyond to find a room a couple of doors down the road, equally as convenient and spectacularly backing onto the private beach. Noel kept in touch for the 2 days prior to our arrival to ensure our travels were safe and kept asking if we needed help with anything. His enthusiasm for helping was incredibly helpful and reassuring. We ended up catching a taxi (a supposed 3 hour drive turned 51/2 hour drive) and Noel even met us at his beach house to escort us to the one he booked for us. He took care of all our tuk tuk needs, timing for transport and advice for our next leg. As two females travelling with little experience on our own in India, he was a lifeline with great communication skills. Be prepared that there are no tuk tuks driving past - it is a little bit out of the way so a tuk tuk needed to be called/booked. It only took 5-10 mins to get into the heart of town (anywhere from 100 to 200 rupee) and the houseboat dock so it wasn't a problem at all but certainly a nice quiet escape from the prior experiences of unlimited tuk tuk offers that we assumed would still be there.

It was a shame we didn't get to stay and take him up on his offer to have his mom show us how to cook a local dish, but like a lot of travel in India (but not all!), the travel took longer than expected and ate into our allocated time for that. Noel looks to be building a one stop shop for a lot of activities in the area so I look forward to following his progress and aim to stay again next time.

It was fantastic to stay. Their behaviour tremendous. Breakfast as per our request. Room is very clean.

Please provide a good table in room.

A beautiful place with the nicest host, you can take shikara House boat and kayaking also from here will be the best in Alleppey.

Everything is good the room the location the service the host the hospitality. Excellent service

The stuff there is very good. They helped us every way we needed starting from helping us take group photographs to choosing meals as per our expectations. I would highly recommend this for family or bachelor's trip. Mr Noel is the name we want to specially mention. Thanks Noel for making our trip memorable. Hope to see you again.

Charging points could have been given a couple more to make our stay more comfortable.
