Location not great but with grab it almost doesn't matter. the open bathroom at the back is really nice, but there was a small opening at the back of the sink and I saw a single cockroach

The place is really green and quiet Beds are good The swimming is beautiful

The AC was a bit noisy It was raining inside the bathroom 😅

Beautiful pool with plants all around and close to Green School (along with a good coffee shop and a few good restaurants).

The smell of mothballs in the room and bathroom was SO strong and gave me a terrible headache, and our AC turned on but didn’t do much at all so we were really uncomfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful in giving us a fan, and they came to fix the AC the next day but we had to leave our two night stay early because we couldn’t risk getting another bad night of sleep. They offered to have us try a different room but we were just ready to move on especially from the chemical smell.

Neat, clean and comfortable the property was exactly what we needed for a one night stay prior to going to the family camp at The Green School.

The aircon in one room wasn't working properly.

Elemento has a clean pool and neat well kept plantings around the guest rooms and the entrance. One of the employees was helpful in arranging a scooter to be brought to the residence for us to hire.

The Elemento property is much smaller than it appears in the pictures online. The rooms are very close to the pool, & there isn't really anywhere around the pool to lay on a towel. Upon entering our room we immediately noticed a very strong odour of mothballs, and in the bathroom the smell was completely overwhelming as there were many mothballs distributed among the pebbles in the shower drain area where water was likely contributing to the spread of the chemical. This was most alarming, as mothball fumes are highly toxic to breathe in ☠️ and known to cause airway injury and red blood cell & liver damage among other things. (A quick Internet search can confirm that mothballs are “reasonably anticipated” to be a human carcinogen by the International Agency for Research on Cancer and as a possible carcinogen by EPA.) As a result we spent the first part of our stay finding them all and removing them and placing in a bin which we moved outside. After airing out our room for several hours with the doors open in the heat, the smell was still noticeable but more tolerable. Since the online listing says that airport transfer is available, we incorrectly assumed that they would be able to help with or at least advise us about a transfer to our next accommodation. This was not the case, they could not assist us when asked. We also had some difficulty getting a Bluebird taxi to come, possibly as it is reasonably far from the main tourist areas. The shared kitchen was small and somewhat dirty. The employee from the reception desk seemed to spend a lot of time sweeping up every fallen leaf and flower around the residence, but maybe it didn't occur to him to perhaps spend a few minutes wiping down the sink or cleaning up a little in the shared kitchen, which was pretty gross with built up gunk. There was no turn down service for our room, which we did experience at other accommodations of similar price. No onsite food available.
