Elemento Homestay Badung

I went here because I was looking for some place that I can rest for a night with my family (husband and 8 months old daughter) before we continuing our vacation to North Bali. I was not expecting much with this hotel but surprisingly when we arrived there, the hotel was so beautiful with tropical garden and pool in the middle. The room was clean and tidy and the best part which we never found at other hotel before was they provided Free Food in the kitchen where we can cook and eat it as we like. The location itself was far from main road but still accessible for car so its quiet and that was what we looking for. Also the staff who welcoming us was friendly and very helpful. Thank you guys :)

The toilet was stink but they put air refresher already, however we still can smell it when we use the toilet. Maybe its because of bad drainage but everything is ok.

Location is geographically central in Bali, possible to cover tabanan, ubud, bedugul, denpasar and even canggu, if you have car/bike. But being in Bringkit/Abiansemal also opens up quite a few local really famous eateries to explore.

Would be nice to have a tv in the room, since the strong point is not nature/outdoor.

The room & pool was nice, cameras everywhere made it secure but less cozy. The staff was very friendly but unprofessional.

Based on the photos and reviews on Booking.com we were really looking forward to our stay. We even changed our plans and traveled further to fulfill our expectations of this place. First of all, the property looks horrible from the outside. The place is nothing like the pictures - they pretend to be a luxury hotel, but the service is bad. We waited for an hour before someone showed up so we could check in. The room was nice, but the bathroom needs better maintenance (see pictures). The aircon was not strong enough and it was not possible to turn off the light showing the temperature, so it is not fully dark at night. The location is bad, there is basically nothing in the area and it takes 30 minutes on motorbike to Ubud. We wanted to rent a motorbike, so we texted them at 10:30, and they showed up at 2 giving us the bike (ignoring our request for a small helmet, so we ended up waiting another half an hour to sort this out). They also asked for 100 IDR instead of 75 as agreed. Oh, and I haven't mentioned that there were empty bottles in the dining area and no one bothered to clean them for our entire stay. Gross!
