Hangzhou JiuYueJi Bed&Breakfast

The hosts showed me hospitality and kindness. Room confortable, excellent breakfast. It's a strategic location to visit the inner side of west lake and all attractions nearby.

Location

We stayed there during cold season for 2 nights. The air conditioner heater were hidden in a box which prevents proper heating of the room. The room was super cold at night and the blanket doesn't keep warm at all. The male owner was unfriendly too. We were a group of middle age friends travelling together and booked 3 rooms separately. We asked if there is washing machine and dryer to use and we were told yes. However, when we tried to use it, the owner seems very reluctant and unhappy to let us use it. We were allowed to use the dryer for 30 minutes only which totally isn't enough to dry our thick clothings. When our friend from another room asked to use the washing machine, the male owner were very unhappy and said "not again?". We requested to have breakfast at 7am but was denied by the owner and said they could only prepare it at 8am. The second day we just forfeit the very simple breakfast. Felt like we were treated like hostel kids by the male owner. The bathroom has no air ventilator and we couldn't open the window as the room was at ground floor and near 0 °C outside. The hot water takes a long time to come out. They didn't clear the rubbish bin in the toilet at all for the two nights we stayed there.

Everything is good. Very harmony place

A charm place and very nice host. The host is very friendly and give us a lot of good recommendation and help to arrange a few things for us. The place is within working distance to eatery and East lake.

Don't bring big suitcase. There is no lift. you have to use the stairs

The staff was very friendly and offered great suggestions during our stay. They even cooked us one of our dinner which was full of local dishes!.

The breakfast was very good, the staff made adjustment for us (vegetarians) without issue. The bed and breakfast is located near the west lake, in a part that is a little bit more quiet than the rest of the lake, but still nearby everything there is to visit by bikes. We could choose our room on arrival, we took one with a lovely balcony. We were provided with a small booklet about the city, and our host was able to wash our clothes.
