I love it

The hosts are amazing: super friendly, open and knowledgeable about the region and Papuan culture. Facilities are very clean, location is ideal in between Sentani Lake (and airport) and Jayapura center.

Perfect place to stay! Homestay with garden and terrace, in a nice quiet neighbourhood. All super clean, and very nice atmosphere with Rut and her family, super helpful, very friendly and providing very good information about Jayapura and Papua, with books to learn more. Is also a great place for first timers in Papua to know how to move around. Rut helped me to rent scooter from neighbours, best way to discover Jayapura and around. Many beautiful things to see in the area. Homestay is good location, near Sentani lake and half way to airport, half way to Jayapura to get traveling permits and so on. A place to come back for sure! Loved it!

It was by far one of they best homestay I have stayed. Heidi and Rainer are amazing people and their house is super nice and clean. They helped me a lot for arranging my trips in Papua. If you need any information about the places to go just ask them. Heidi has mazing contact for the local guide in Wamena and gave ne great recommendations where to go in Jayapura and the rest of Papua. They even helped me rent a scooter so I can go around some places in Jayapura and around Sentany lake. I would definitely recommend this place if you come to Papua as a solo traveler or with your family and friends.

super nice, quiet and peaceful place in jayapura. Ruth welcomed us and offered us some of her amazing, Home-cooked porridge :) it was delicious and we enjoyed our stay - even if it was just one night
