The room was a really good size and the WiFi connection was very good. We liked the amenities in the room too.

It was a lovely place to stay, very quiet. It was a really old house full of character.

It really needs a bit of refurbishment and it could be a bit cleaner. The garden really needed some attention as there wasn't anywhere nice to sit as the weather was really nice, so I was very disappointed.

Location and Room

Lovely accommodation in beautiful grounds, the room was lovely , the communal areas were also lovely and clean.

The cups, plates and cutlery were not cleaned at all over the stay and there wasn’t enough for more than one day, which would be ok but there was only the bathroom sink to wash in but nothing to wash them with.

I honestly do not understand how anyone can give this place a bad review 😕 If you expect 5* experience or you are fussy about details it's probably not for you. However, we stayed for 3 nights in a separate cottage and had one of the best holidays ever. Even my 2 teenage sons could not praise it enough and they are already asking when we can go back. The cottage is very well equipped (it has everything you need and more), secluded (so you have a lot of privacy), short drive from the seaside, and you will not find anything better for the price! We are definitely hoping to come back in the future.

One of the single beds was not very comfortable, but my son said it would not put him off staying there again.

Quiet location and everywhere was very clean. I had a great night's sleep, the quilt was warm and the room not heated. It was helpful to be able to have the use of a microwave.

The room I was given appeared to be part of the emergency exit and that seemed very unusual. The microwave worked but should be replaced for guests to use as it wasn't in excellent condition. The ensuite is very small with nowhere to hang a towel that I could see.
