Lingwood Hall

This stay was perfect for us. Great location and the room set up worked well for our family. My dogs were happy and we all slept through the night. We are likely to come back again.

Warm, cosy, full of character. Great for kids to explore. Friendly arrival. Comfortable and spacious. We would stay again and most likely will!

Carpet in shower room/toilet.. smelt awful, Maybe you should have vinyl flooring. Large Stain on carpet next to bed. Poor layout of room. Only 1 pillow and duvet felt old. Complimentary tea/coffee wasn't good. Teabags loose, 1 coffee sachet.. no sugar. Would have brought our own if we knew.

​Our stay last night was disappointing. The accommodation smelled damp and looked neglected. ​From the moment we opened the door, we were met with a powerful smell of mould & dampness. We immediately had to open all the windows just to make the air breathable, which obviously made the room even more cold than it first was. ​The poor condition wasn't limited to the smell. The bed and pillows were so thin and hard that they were so uncomfortable, resulting in a terrible night's sleep for both of us. The towels smelt of mould too. ​​In response to management's typical unprofessional defense of the property's low price point, this is not a matter of being "cheap" it's a matter of being substandard & unsanitary. I have stayed in numerous places at a similar price that were far cleaner, more comfortable, and had professional, caring staff. A low price does not excuse mould, discomfort, or an uncaring attitude. I would like to point out that Alex did try. It's the management higher up that let this place down. Your responses to bad reviews reflect that. ​Please just change the mattress, pillows & put an air freshener in the room.

It was a WONDERFUL building in amazing,peaceful, surroundings and our large room and bathroom within the building were gorgeous-a very modern ,huge, bathroom , a very large "rain" shower with plenty of hot water .There was a small fridge ,kettle, microwave and crockery&cutlery,along with some tea/coffee. There was free wi fi and parking just by the door.We had been given very clear instructions on how to see ourselves in,however the gentleman who greeted us & saw us in was very friendly and helpful-- and others, too were very friendly. We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay again. Thanks to all at Lingwood Hall.

Everything was so well appointed.The only thing that needed upgrading were the towels and bed sheets but they didn't spoil our stay.

So peaceful, clean and lovely location. If you walk a bit further l, you'll find the Egg Shed and can buy some tasty local produce. The size of the Leeks!! Yummy eggs and cakes too.

Nice location, comfy room with plenty of space and even a nice comfy lounge and quiet garden to sit in.. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good wifi. Would stay again

Although not an issue at the time the shower room had a carpeted floor. This over time could make the room smell musty and a lino flooring would prevent this.

Very large family room with ample parking

The bathroom sink is too high and the tap leaks. Also the shower floor overflows onto the bathroom floor
