Rui and his wife Lina are amazing hosts. I only stayed two nights but made the best out of it. Rui picked me up at the airport and even drove me to other places for walks as I didn't have car. Both him and Lina are super sweet people who will go beyond to make you feel welcome. And the house (or better the mansion) is amazing as well with great view to Pico and Velas. I couldn't choose better place :)

Everything about this place is incredible -- the house, the views, and the hospitality.  The bedroom is large, bright, and comfortable, but guests also have the use of the rest of the gorgeous villa, too -- the kitchen, dining room, living areas, terraces.  The views of the neighboring islands are stunning.  And Lina and Rui may be the kindest, sweetest hosts we have met in our many years of travel.  Everything here is absolutely perfect.

The hosts were so kind, welcoming and just absolutely amazing! And we could not believe how magnificent the house was when we walked in. It blew us away! Our bedroom window had a great view of the mountain on pico and the ocean. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing place in the best possible location!! to wake up with the amazing sea view with dolphins playing and the majestic pico montain in front is just something out of this world!! on top of that, Rui and Lina where beyond amazing in the way they welcomed us and made us feel at ease!!

Everything. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The house has everything. Very nice welcome. Gorgeous views of Velas and the two islands nearby. Quiet at night. We loved the sound of the seabirds in the evening.

I don't know where to start. It has been the absolute best accommodation we have been staying at in a very long time. The hosts Lina and Rui are wonderful people and made us feel at home from day one. The views from their beautiful house are spectacular. The house (its actually a villa) is kept spotless and we were invited to use the kitchen, washing machine, the several terraces and pool. Lina and Rui asked us what they could do better and we didn't know what. All was perfect and we would love to return one day.

The hosts Lina and Rui are the most warm and accommodating people, it felt like we stayed with family. The views from the dining room every morning watching to see if we could spot some dolphins while we ate breakfast was one of a kind. The location was great as we were 3 minutes from the airport but we didn't have to drive down a mountain to get to the house. We loved sitting by the pool, either in the sun or under the pool house roof. Lina makes sure everything is spotless each day. This was such an enjoyable stay!

The bed was a little hard. Otherwise this place is perfect.

Everything was absolutely wonderful! The property is located near the airport, and the hospitality was a delight! It was indeed a pleasure to have met the owners who were so kind and friendly, and offered a ride to and from the airport!
