Quinta dos Dragoeiros - RRAL Nº3452

We stayed at Quinta do Dragoeiros and were simply enchanted. The place is a true haven of peace, surrounded by nature, with a breathtaking view of Pico island that stayed with us throughout our stay – at sunrise, sunset, and during our breakfasts and dinners on the veranda. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, incredibly quiet, and thoughtfully designed. The kitchen is spacious, well-equipped, and functional, perfect for preparing meals to enjoy on the stunning panoramic veranda – ideal for aperitifs, dinners, or relaxing under the stars. A special thanks to Rui and Lina, the hosts: kind, welcoming, always available but never intrusive – truly wonderful people who clearly love what they do. This was a stay we won’t forget: authentic, peaceful and unforgettable. We’d go back in a heartbeat

Shared bathroom and kitchen are available to prepare your own breakfast - coffee machine and assorted tea bags offered by hosts, indoor room and terrace for taking breakfast,lunch or supper! Nice pool in the garden, free shuttle service to harbor and town or taxi organization for starting point or destination of hiking trail. View of Velas and the Pico (if clouds allow)

Shared bathroom sometimes occupied... No bus service on weekends;-/

Lina and Rui are the sweetest, warmest hosts ever. They made sure we had everything we needed and more! Their house is beautiful and huge, we had a lot of freedom and still we had the feeling they were close by if we needed them. They made us a map with the best things to see around the island and it was just great. It was awesome, especially for the price we paid.

The only thing that was a bit inconvenient was the shared bathroom for 3 rooms. When 2 of the 3 rooms were booked the bathroom was often occupied, and at that point we were lucky there was no 3rd room also booked. But that's the only thing, all the rest was just great!

The views from the house are as good as they look in pictures, with magnificent panoramas everywhere. Rooms are spacious, there is a fully stocked kitchen, and the place is kept spotless. The other highlight has to be the hosts, Rui and Lina. They really want you to feel cozy and will go above and beyond. They even offered to pick us up from the ferry (in another town nearby), which made things super easy for us. Rui stopped to show us a few of the highlights along the way. He shared stories, recommendations on where to go, and even food and drinks. It's very easy to like it here and we'd love to come again.

The bathroom is shared but that was clear beforehand

We had a wonderful stay at Rui and Lina’s place. The house is beautiful and well-equipped, making it very comfortable. Rui and Lina are very kind and attentive hosts, always making sure guests feel welcome. They even offer rides to places if you don’t have a car. The pool is great on warm days, and the view of Pico is stunning. A lovely place to stay! Would highly recommend!

Awesome hosts, giving great tips, a lot of privacy and always a smile. Always ready to help. The house is in nature and you can hear funny birds at night, it is really cosy.

Everything was fantastic - the big house with amazing views and the best location on the island where you can see incredible sunrises and sunsets with views of Pico and Velas, and if you're lucky you can see schools of dolphins ( we saw them on the last day of our excellent stay ). The bedroom with separate bathroom and toilet on the second floor is large, bright, clean and comfortable with a perfect view, but guests also have the use of the rest of the gorgeous villa such-- the kitchen, dining room, living areas, terraces. The owners are very kind and friendly. We felt at home among family. Everything here is absolutely perfect. Thank you very much for your great place.

Nothing

The house is located at the coast so you have amazing views on Pico and the ocean. It is very spacious and cleab with several common areas such as big kitchen, dining room with a view, terrace and even a pool with view on Pico. The owner is very nice and helpful. She recommended us several places on the island and made us feel very welcomed. I definitely recommend this place and I would love to come back in the future.
