Amazing hosts! A beautiful and delicious family dinner (the best we had during our stay in Sri Lanka) and also breakfast.

The family who run Silent Bungalow are very friendly, hospitable and helpful. They helped me book an amazing half day safari of Udawalawe national park, gave me lifts to places I needed to get to and provided recommendations for the local area. They also cooked breakfast and dinner for me 3 days in a row and each meal was delicious. There was no need for me to eat out in town. All of the facilities worked and it’s in a beautiful surrounding. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there and would recommend this place to everyone looking for a base to explore the area 😁

beautiful clean rooms in the heart of the jungle. lovely family welcome, including a delicious home cooked meal on our first night. We booked the half day safari through the homestay and would highly recommend. excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable of the park. would 100% recommend.

Simple but large and clean rooms. Feels like you are staying with a lovely family. Delicious Sri Lankan dinner. Great safari with really knowledgable guide and delicious breakfast.

The best food I had in Sri Lanka. The Host were really kind and helpfull. I really loved the stay I had in Silent Bengalow.

Excellent place, very close to Udawalawa. Food was excellent and Sudath was great. Organised the safari with them and it was fantastic.

When we arrived they invited us to a snack, and they had dinner ready for us. Sudadh and his family are charming and very attentive. We did a Safari with him and it was amazing, he organized everything and it was a highly recommended experience. Thank you

The light was not working well and was on intermittently all the night.
