Pinthu Home Stay

The host was really welcoming and organized transportation to Pidurangala Rock for the sunrise + a safari in the afternoon for us! We also had breakfast every morning which were delicious.

The road to the house is dark at night, you just need to be careful.

The location was good.

I chose Pinthu Homestay because of the good reviews, unfortunately none of them are true. The shower does not run off, there is a nest with geckos/lizards in the room, the AC stinks like mold, the key of the door does not work, so you cannot lock the room, the mosquito net does not fit on the bed... Don't book transfers, tuktuk, etc. with the owner, its probably more expensive. The accomodation is cheap, but I think there are significantly better accommodations in the area at this price. I can't understand, the good reviews.

Good location, very kind host, will help you with anything. Breakfast is very good and different than European ones. It is clean but be aware that this is the jungle part of Sri Lanka and there are strange animal sounds over night hehehe.

Location is near the busiest street of Sigiriya, and Lion rock also within 10 minutes walking distance. Included delicious Sri Lanka traditional breakfast.

Room and furniture are old and dirty, no enough socket. The room at night was very cold but didn't provide thick blanket and there was only ice-cold bathwater. Floor tile of bathroom is slippery, be careful of slip and fall.

The owner was very helpful and cooked us a great breakfast. Amazing location and lots of things to do around the area.

Nice cozy place. We extended for a few more days. We stayed at the mango tree room. It was so lovely. Thank you for everything.

A wonderful woman who wants to do her best 24/7 to help you together with het family if you need any transport or whatever! To recommend
