Nice host, good breakfast. Economical option.

The air inside the room was not fresh, smelled a bit, but we couldn’t complain for the price.

Nadeeka the host is so warm and friendly and will do anything to make your stay better. She was happy to give me more coffee, and gives a great breakfast with coconut pancakes and fruit. She helped me do my clothes washing for very cheap price too. Always trying to make my stay the best 🙏 the treehouse is so adorable that you can stay in here and very comfortable beds!

Sometimes some dogs barking at night, but you find that all over Sri Lanka. Regardless was an amazing property and would 100% start again. My favourite place I stayed while in Sri Lanka.

Location was excellent and in the heart of Sigriya town.! Very near to the Lion Rock and walking distance to nice cafes , stores and souvenir shops. Hostess Nadica and her brother Chandana were very warm and helpful! Chandana has a tuk tuk and he dropped us early morning at 5.30 to Lion Rock complex and picked us up after 3 hrs. He arranged a very reasonable cab for us to go sightseeing in Anuradhapura and later cab dropped us at Dumbolla. Our accommodation - Mango tree house (with AC) was very comfortable!

When I booked the place I didn't know that I am going to stay in a tree house. It was quite interesting experience. House on stilts is under mango tree. I was surprised there was shower with hot water, which is quite a luxury for a tree house. Lady owner was doing nice breakfast, pancakes with coconut and fruits with tea or coffee.

My main problem was that I was freaking out alone in this house. There were so many different noises from dogs scratching the door or someone trying to get in, mangos falling on the roof and plenty of other loud noises that I have no idea what they were. Dogs were barking very loudly. I woke up many times during the night freaking out and I didn't rest well at all. Apart from that there is a whole list of things that I didn't like but as I can't expect much from a cheap stay and from a tree house they weren't my main concern. I will mention though for other travelers to know: no wifi, bathroom flooding, sheets were perfumed which made me doubtful that they were washed, no towel, no toilet paper, bathroom was dirty, room was stuffy and smelly.

The Mango tree house was really special experience! The location is great, close to the main street and the bus stop, breakfast was delicious.

It was great fun to sleep on a Mango tree and enjoy the full comfort of the air condition and warm shower. :-) The owner is a nice Lady, very helpful. .

Very homely stay in Sigiriya. We had all we needed and were very comfortable. Very close to lions rock (20 mins walk), with plenty of food and travel options nearby. The family were also very accommodating with breakfast and answering all our queries!
