Sumudu Homestay

La ubicación muy cercana a la roca. Sin embargo el dueño nos dijo qje no se podía ir caminando y si se puede. Lo que se supone que es peligroso es de noche porque supuestamente hay elefantes salvajes cruzando por el pueblo. No me gustaron 3 cosas primero el dueño decia que no teniamos aire acondicionado incluido y el padre del dueño vive al lado. Llegamos despues de cenar en un tuk tuk a las 9 pm y nos puso mala cara. Entiendo que es un negocio pero solo quieren venderte excursiones. El ultimo dia nos llevo en tuk tuk a la estacion de bus de Dambulla y nos queria meter en un sitio de esos de ayurveda (le dijinos que no porque sabemos que es un tino)

El dueño solo quiere venderte algo mas siempre. La comida muy cara para lo que era apenas un poco de pollo en un curry con mucho sabor pero aguado y arroz. No merece la pena comer alli.

Sumudu est très accueillant, gentil et disponible L’emplacement est ok pour le Sigiriya rock mais assez excentré du centre-ville (restaurants, etc) La chambre était propre et climatisée

Mauvaise connexion wifi

The property is in a great location. The warm shower was great after only showering with cold water in other places. The breakfast was amazing, super abundant and yummy! Totally recommended!

The owner is really attentive but sometimes he feels a bit pushy about using his tuk tuk services.

Tolles sehr sauberes und schönes Zimmer mit sehr sauberen Badezimmer ( inkl 2 kleiner Frösche 😂 das war überhaupt nicht schlimm ! ) und einer kleinen süßen Terrasse wo man gemütlich sitzen kann. Das Beste war aber die sehr sehr liebe Gastfamilie !!! Tolles Frühstück und Abendessen zu einem absolut fairen Preis und dazu super lecker !! Bin auch einmal zum Felsen und zur Wäscherei gefahren worden - ganz lieben Dank noch einmal ❗️ Ich kann dieses Homestay zu 100 % empfehlen. Es ist sehr schön ruhig in der Natur gelegen.

Sumudu et sa famille sont adorables, excellents guides et conseillers qui font tout pour que vous profitiez au maximum. C'est idéalement pour visiter les alentours ! (Super douche et petite terrasse)

Attention : chambre normaly (sans clim ni breakfast), il faut réserver la chambre easy pour l'avoir mais ce n'est pas précisé clairement sur Booking donc prix un peu plus élevé que prévu potentiellement.

Гостевой дом в тихом месте,всё в зелени,прикольно,что лягушка в ванной, это очень экзотично!) Кровать удобная,кондиционер и вентилятор работают отлично, нам принесли приветственный кокос при заезде-приятно) Хозяин принес мыло, когда попросили, а еще-шампунь и гель для душа берите с собой

В ванной текла вода от кондиционера-не очень комфортно,что пол всегда сырой

Sumudu Homestay is in a very small quiet village in Sigiriya. So if that is something you like this place is absolutely fabulous. The host is hardworking and lives there with his wife, children and parents. And they keep their home clean and well looked-after. There are lovely seats in their front yard and just outside the room so one can spend a leisurely afternoon doing nothing there - just absorbing the atmosphere as the wind blows and the leaves rustle. I spent two magical days doing this and loved it. One night I ordered dinner and the food was simple but tasty and the quantity was too much. I went for a walk down the village road in the evening and in the morning and enjoyed the silence and the solitude. After staying there I've thought about spending a longer time in Sri Lanka .... particularly with this homestay in Sigiriya.

I should have used a language translation app to speak to the elders of the family ... that would have made the stay more enjoyable.
