Sigiri Anu Homestay

We had a wonderful two-day stay and would absolutely recommend this place. The highlight was the host, who went above and beyond to make our stay special. He was available throughout the day whenever needed and took us to several attractions with his tuk-tuk, even stopping along the way to show us additional spots and waiting for us during visits. This level of care and flexibility was outstanding. The food was another big plus – especially the homemade dinners prepared by his wife, which were delicious. Breakfast was very generous, with large portions and a nice variety over the two days.

There were only a few minor downsides: the Wi-Fi connection was inconsistent and sometimes not available at all, and the shower was only lukewarm.

Anu is the most amazing host, made us feel welcome straight away. Staying there was an amazing experience, from the spotless room to the incredible breakfast. Location was perfect, just off the main road so it is quiet to get a good sleep but your are near many restaurants and tuk tuks. I could not recommend this Homestay enough.

Nous avons aimé la grande qualité de l'accueil, la gentillesse et la disponibilité d'Anu et de sa famille. Les repas sont excellents et très copieux. Anu à l'aide de son tuktuk nous a emmené voir tous les sites remarquables et en plus il nous a donné toutes les explications sur les sites et la culture du Sri Lanka. Ces jours passés avec eux ont été formidables et nous les avons quitté à regrets.

We had an amazing stay at Anu’s homestay in Sigiriya. From the moment we arrived, Anu and his family welcomed us so warmly and made us feel at home. They are truly wonderful hosts. The room was very large, spacious, and comfortable, and everything was perfectly arranged for a pleasant stay. Anu was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout our visit. He helped us book our safari and even took us around the city to show us the best viewpoints of Sigiriya. He was always available and genuinely happy to help with anything we needed. We also had dinner at the house, and it was absolutely delicious. The breakfasts were very generous and really tasty as well. We truly loved our stay there. Staying with Anu and his family felt like a real immersion into Sri Lankan culture. We highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Sigiriya!

Endroit incroyable, n hésitez surtout pas à réserver. Anu, Lion et sa famille sont aux petits soins. Le petit déjeuner est fantastique. C est le meilleur logement qu on ait eu au Sri Lanka. Bonne literie Excellent rapport qualité/prix

Anu y su familia estan atentos a todo. Si estas buscando alguien que organice toda la estadia en Sirigiya, lo de Anu es el lugar ideal. Sin olvidar del desayuno más increíble que comi en todo Sri lanka.

Tolles reichhaltiges, typisch srilankisches Frühstück. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Toller Ausgangspunkt für viele Unternehmungen sowohl kulturelle oder auch mit Safari.

Wenig Ameisen nur im Bad.

Skvělé postele, výborné snídaně, noční ticho, kousek od dostupných prodejen a restaurací.

Mají většího psa, ale je to miláček!! Pokud má však někdo alergie na srst, je dobré to vědět předem...
