Newa House Homestay

The owner took great care of us. The lady of the house asked about our food choice before we reached there and prepared food exactly as per our requirement. Cleanliness is superb. Every inch of the property is clean. Ambience of the dining space is great. Location is great for travelers who need to catch flight from Bagdogra Airport. The owner arranges for airport transfer also.

Everything of the property is good. But the room where we stayed did not have attached bath. Though the bathroom is next to our room we need to go out from our room to take bath which is a bit awkward. Otherwise its great.

Value for the money. They provide great hospitality.

The property was very good. Away from chaos of the city. Neatly maintained. Has plenty of plants and the seating area on the upper floor was just fabulous. Rain made our stay more enjoyable. The place is around 7-8kms from the Airport and we have requested for an airport shuttle and it was provided on dot. The hosts are amazing too. They cooked us a great tasty meal for dinner. They talked to us like well known acquaintances and that made us pretty comfortable at the stay.

This homestay was a lovely addition to our trip. We were only stay one night to catch and early flight. We accidentally arrived late and had to leave early but in our short time we felt so welcomed. The hosts went out of their way to make sure we were fed (which was delicious!) which we really appreciated. They also arranged a ride to the airport for us which meant we could just relax when we arrived. The home is lovely, clean and comfortable. They have a great covered patio to sit and enjoy meals. It was a shared bathroom but very clean. Bedroom was comfortable with aircon and a comfy blanket. Overall we enjoyed our stay and loved meeting the hosts. We would highly recommend staying here.

It's a beautiful house filled with plants and lovely places to relax. The hosts are very accommodating, providing delicious meals and coffee whenever you want them.
