Newa House Homestay

Wonderful house, giving homey feeling. Very cozy, easy to relax and feel well there. The hosts are very friendly.

The breakfast, which was included in the price, was just one egg and bread with a bit of butter. For the price paid, I was expecting something more substantial.

Very big and modern house with a lot of space. Many sofas and armchairs to relax. On the roof a huge terrasse. We stayed two nights for a great value. The hosts were very helpful, providing a taxi to Darjeeling and the airport. They took great care of us on our return as we were really sick. The cook prepared lovely food for us. Really enjoyed every one of the Homestay

Location is good

This is the best place we have stayed in India so far. The hosts really looked after us - arranging us vegan dinners, helping us secure taxis and making us feel supremely at home. They are a brilliant team and the house is spotless and fantastic value for money. The beautiful veranda is the best for a relaxing evening or morning. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay, we can’t recommend Newa house enough.
