Newa House Homestay

The most liked aspect, were the hosts, Mr and Mrs Praehan and the team. From the moment of booking the stay to the drop off at airport when leaving, we were well looked after and felt part of the family. We extended our stay and also returned to stay before leaving the area. Highly recommend staying here. Enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinners here, each meal home cooked and delicious. Beautiful balcony with many plants overlooking sunset view point. Rooms were large, comfortable and airy.

Wonderful place the hosts are very courteous they take care of the guest personally , totally at home feeling , specially the sitting area is just superb.

Amazing homestay in a beautiful house! The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is very cosy. We enjoyed having a tasty dinner on the balcony. This homestay is perfect if you need to catch a flight in Bagdogra airport (15 min by car) and if you want to feel at home away from home! Highly recommend!!

The property is a residential house with rooms, bathrooms, sitting area, living room and balcony. As we reached quite late, we could not use the place in the best way. Rooms are cozy and facilities available are decent. Breakfast served was basic and satisfactory.

Since it is a house located on the first floor, you have to carry your luggage. Heavy luggage would be a bit of a problem. There is only one housekeeper who will help you out with check in.
