Newa House Homestay

Great location close to Bagdogra airport. Beautiful spacious home. Staff provided excellent service and prepared a nice fish thali at dinner. Good internet.

I would ask for the room on the top floor close to the shower.

The ambiance was very beautiful. Everything was maintained very neatly. Caretaker Mr.Prem was extremely helpful. Breakfast was very delicious. There was a huge parking place...The area, where the homestay is situated, is very quite and calm..

Friendly helpful staff who were very punctual with everything. The whole place was wonderfully clean and well maintained.

The place was difficult to find. To be fair, my feedback is based on a short one-night stay to catch an early flight out of Bagdogra airport : The room was tiny , and without a shower which was outside and had to be shared between multiple guests, although we had booked a room with a private bathroom. So had to wait for a long time for another guest to finish their shower and go into a bathroom which was wet , and there was no hot water left. The terrace was well furnished and decorated but it was impossible to sit there because of the mosquitoes and other flying insects. Could not sit in the small balcony either for the same reasons.
