Newa House Homestay

Had a wonderful stay with The lovely Mr. And Mrs. Pradhan, Prem and Maya. Such a welcoming, friendly and generous bunch of people that really left me teary eyed while leaving. Not to forget the amazing property they have set up for guests to enjoy a home away from home experience. Totally loved the stay, the chat, the food and the ride to airport. Will definitely visit again, next time I am at Siliguri.

If hospitality needs definition, Newa House is it. Mrs. & Mr. Pradhan were gracious hosts and delightful company. Maya & Prem complemented them perfectly. Wish we could have stayed there longer.

This homestay is a piece of gem located around 8kms from the bagdogra airport. The hosts were cordial and were more than welcome to check and fullfil even our small requests. They have 3 rooms available for rent and can accomodate around a group of 6 people comfortably. The food was homely and teasty. Special mention to their lvoely balcony garden where we spent most of our time.

Some of the bathroom fittings have become worn out and can be replaced.

Location is at the outskirts. it has a beautiful half terrace to unwind and relax. Prem and Maya are exceptional in making sure you feel at home.

would have preferred to have attached toilet but understand that it’s old property.
