Odyssey's Pateng Homestay, Cherrapunji

It's a pretty homestay on the road side with markets, restaurant at just walking distance. the host was very warm and welcoming and caring. The food prepared by Amdor their son was better than any restaurant we had. Had a lovely time here ☺️

The homestay exceeded our expectations. Firstly let's start with location which one perfect near the market so anything you want will be easily accessible just 2 min walking distance. Food was delicious. You need to inform them in advance so that they get time to prepare since it's a homestay not a hotel. Rooms were well maintained with clean bedsheets, drinking water, geyser in bathroom, soap, towels. Also most of the tourist spots are pretty close by from here. Will definitely come here again. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

Lovely view, home cooked delicious meals, clean and spacious rooms with attached washroom and perfect location near the main market. 10/10

Exceptional stay. Clean and well maintained rooms, delicious home cooked meals and the location was also perfect right next to the main market so everything was accessible. The view of the mountains and waterfall during monsoon from the terrace was the highlight of this stay.

It is very well maintained and a pretty homestay. Best part is the view of mountains from the terrace and also the it is located walking distance from the main market so you will get everything you need. Also people need to know that Cherrapunji is a village and you won’t get luxury here so don’t have high expectations but you will definitely get all the basic amenities and delicious food.

Great option if you are looking for a stay in the main Cherrapunji market close to famous tourist spots. The room was very clean and well maintained. The washroom was quite big with geyser facility. Home cooked meals were also provided for which you need to mention in advance. There is ample parking space.
