Tetebatu Sunrise Homestay

Su’ef is a really lovely host who will make your stay in Tetebatu unforgettable! He will make you visit around rice fields, waterfalls and the monkey forest, but also the sarung and bamboo process. Anggi is an amazing cooker with who I learnt some Indonesian food recipes. They and their kid Arrumi will make you feel you are part from their family !

This homestay is great! Su’ef and Angi are lovely people who were so welcoming and helpful. I arrived with very little notice, but they were still able to organize lots of activities for my time there. Also the food is fantastic! Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

It didn‘t had WIFE and no warm water

Staying at Tetebatu Sunrise Homestay was good. The room was just okay with a hot shower available and good-sized bed. The host's father is a nice gentleman who invited us to join the family dinner which was a good experience.

The location was a bit interior, away from the main town and access to this place is only by 2wheeler. The room was less spacious with no fan, and no Wi-Fi. During our stay, there was a lot of construction work which made the place too crowded and noisy. Compared to other places we stayed, the food and breakfast were just okay for the price we paid, although it was home-cooked. Better to clarify the price first before asking for any additional services. The host had limited information about local places, local food, and events to visit around the town. We were lucky to find another Homestay owner who took us around which made our stay at Tetebatu memorable.

Super cute and small comfortable homestay. Everything you need is given. The family was welcoming and included us in their daily life. We played with little Arumi and learnt new Indonesian words :) Anki is a former cook and treated us with amazing local food. Suaeb was showing us around Tetebatu. We planted rise, walked around the ricefields and learned a lot about local fruits and vegetables and took a bath in two waterfalls. On top we saw some black monkeys in the forest. We were also shown the typical sarung factory and the bamboo handcraft factory. It’s been a perfect all round package in a non-touristic area.

Very nice bungalow, they have just started and are cooking in a tent for the time being. We can't wait for the warung to be finished. Would recommend if you want to go a little 'off the beaten track'. The food is awesome!

The Homestay is in a peaceful area. Surrounded by rice fields and a beautiful view of the mountains. The food Anggi prepared is super delicious. What I liked the most was that the family make you feel as part of them. They are super friendly, always helping and sharing with you. We cooked together, did some colouring with the little ones, bonfires during the night with family and friends. It was a lovely stay! Thanks so much to this amazing family. Hope we meet again.

We shared a lot of precious moments with Sueb, Anggi and their children Harumi who was so cute. Everything was perfect : We cooked traditionnal meals, we walked around the ricefields, waterfalls, monkey forest and learned a lot of things about Sasak culture. We felt like family at the end of the stay and would have love to stay more but it was full 😭. We highly recommand to stay in Sunrise Homestay to have an unforgetable moment with lovely people. Thanks again for everything ♥️

Everything was perfect

This homestay is owned by two of the nicest people we have met on Lombok. They love to show you around, cook together and have dinner with you. Also the location is amazing. Defenitely stay here if you like a local point of view, and do not wish for the glamour of a resort.
