Near to Everything Yet in a Rainforest setting

We didn’t like that booking.com did not say that it was shared accommodation.

For affordable accommodation in Noosa this is ideal. The property is tucked away in a quiet street, surrounded by the forest, filled with different birds which come to visit in the morning. George is a friendly chap welcoming you into his home, while also keeping himself to himself. There’s tea, coffee and everything you need to cook in the kitchen. The bathroom had shampoo etc, the bed was extremely comfortable and we were able to do all our washing which was a bonus! It’s shared accommodation but for the price in Noosa it’s not bad by any means!! :)

The ease of being able to use the shared kitchen, toilet, shower and lounge plus the seating on the outside veranda to watch the birds in the garden and surrounding trees. The owner was great letting me park my bike in his garage over night.

Location is pretty good, the owner is nice and there s alot of nature around.

Unexpectedly dirty, the room had so much mould that you could actually breathe it, even if the windows were open. The bed was sunken, and i wouldn't be sure that the sheets had been changed, i found hair and crumbs. I checked out, but i left my computer there to charge. When i went back, the bed was done for a new guest with the same sheets, pillow cases, and doona cover, all very old and wrinkled. The whole house smells, is filthy, dusty, and the kitchen is a mess. I didn't want to say anything to the owner for few reasons: first is very old and sound like he doesn't want to have nothing to do with Booking.com and second he saw me in bikini, looked at me and said "Gnam", so i decided not to approach him, even if he s harmless. I do understand that the owner may need money, but more than 100 bucks per night is a robbery! I m not picky, i usually sleep anywhere without complaining, but this was crossing the line of a hundred yards. Please do something, get rid of the mould at least, and pay someone good to deep clean your house.

Pokey little room. Needs a good clean and paint job. Have realised I’m too old to stay in someone else’s spare room. Need to spend more to have my own space

The ad showed up as a whole apartment not a room When I got there they were very rude as i told them this and said they would not refund me and yelled. He said it's mine and booking.coms problem because he has had this issue before and said last week he got them to change It to make it more obvious. Didnt seem to work

The entire experience and that when I called booking.com they didn't reduce d em but requested the refund from the angry man who already told me he didn't want to refund me. Me who explained It was the last of my remaining funds And thay I'd judt been sleeping rough for the last weeks So. Bad review all around. Will be taking it further till I get my refund back.

Adele terrific hostess. Very handy to where we needed to be. Bed was nice and comfortable and a lovely setting.

The whole ensuite ceiling was covered in mould. Walls and especially around door handles, door jambs were stained, dirty. House is old, needs a lot of repairs. Also not clear on viewing site that it is share accommodation. All three bedrooms of the house are individually let. We had main bedroom with the ensuite but the other two bedrooms share the bathroom and toilet.
