Really cozy comfy home stay located in the heart of periyar.. market was nearby within kilometres... The host was helpful to arrange multiple activities for you. Overall really good and comfortable experience...

Periyar inn is very well located. Juste 5 min from Kumily bus station. And only 15 minutes from the Periyar reserve gate. You can do anything by foot. This very cute Homestay is a plant paradise ! It’s like being in a forest . Really amazing. And most of all, the lovely couple were extremely kind ! They booked us everything we asked. Massages, trail in the periyar reserve, restaurants, etc. They know every one in the city, so they can call anyone to arrange activities for you. They cooked a lovely dinner for us, and it was really good! I would 100% recommend it ! They are very accommodating. Very local, very friendly. Amazing people.

Firstly, the host. Both Mrs. & Mr. Jobin was excellent, trying to meet all demands with a smiling face. Secondly, the ambience. One can truly see how much passion has been infused in the homestay by the lady of the house. Thirdly, proximity. Proximity to the main market, bus stand, performance auditoriums, cafes n restaurants were all nearby; the homestay was away from the hustle and bustle of the main marketplace, yet quite close to the homestay. Fourthly, food. Homemade delicious hot piping food was served every time. Last, but not the least, the rooms were big, neat and clean, and with all modern amenities.

Parking space could've been a little bigger. If there are 3 guests with cars, parking would be an issue.
