Easy and a little bit in the shade so it’s not too hot. Clean and not directly at the main road but close! Friendly family and helpful! Would def recommend 🍀

The owner of the family are very warm and always helpful whatever needs to be resolved to make my stay conformable.

It's a nice room near to a beautiful calm beach. Bus stop and food nearby. The owners are lovely and friendly. It's quiet and a great value for money. Kitchen area wasn't used in a long time

The family was kind but it was obvious they provided the very bare minimum which I had to ask for. For the kitchen I had to ask for a sponge and soap, a knife, etc. Granted they provided these items once asked for but they should have been available without having to request them.

The room and immediate environment was drab and depressing. The room was extremely hot with no air flow. The area outside the room to sit was uninviting and dismal. Basically pathetic.

I had an amazing stay at Punsis Villa with my friends. The staff are incredible—super friendly and welcoming. They even treated us to complimentary Sri Lankan food, which was not only authentic but absolutely delicious! The rooms are in excellent condition, with everything feeling new, spotless, and well-maintained. The shared kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need—pots, pans, utensils, a fridge, and secure lockers for storage. The bathroom was a standout as well—impeccably clean, with modern showers. It’s clear that the entire place has been recently renovated (completed in December), and the improvements are exceptional. Any past issues you might find in older reviews have been completely addressed. For security, this place goes above and beyond. There’s a CCTV security system, and they’ve even added window guards for extra peace of mind. I’ve stayed in many places in Weligama during my travels, but I’ve never seen this level of care and facilities elsewhere. Location-wise, it’s perfect—close to the beach yet in a quiet, peaceful area. It’s truly a great value for money. I was so impressed that I decided to extend my stay. If you’re looking for a serene and secure place in Weligama, Punsis Villa is an absolute gem. Highly recommended!

Very kind family; they are there for you, but at the same time you’ve your own space and privacy. The location is also good.
