"Exceptional"

We loved the charming little village with easy access to Guadalest as well as a pretty hiking trail around the reservoir. The host was very kind and helpful and we had a really enjoyable weekend. We would do this again!

"Absolute beautiful calm gem in the peaceful hills"

It’s a clean comfortable apartment and the hosts Mers (hope I spelt that right) and Paco were very responsive ans accommodating. Absolutely beautiful and tranquil village in the hills. Very peaceful. The breakfast was made from Local produce. I would recommend.

The peaceful location was an asset, however be aware that when we visited - June 2025 - only one bar/restaurant was open

Llar de Beniardà is beautiful and cozy with modern facilities to make you feel at home. Tucked away in the mountains, it is an easy hour drive up from Alicante and just a 10 min drive away from Guadalest. You are also able to walk to Guadalest/Benimantell via a trail along the reservoir. The host is very kind and accommodating, we would happily stay there again and recommend it to all our friends. The area is very quiet in the off season, but if you are mostly hiking in the area it is a great and quiet stay. Guadalest is very close if you need to pop into a resteraunt for some dinner.

We found the accomodations excellent. The owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome and relaxed. We enjoyed every minute.

We liked everything. Do expect to drive some steep mountain roads. Do expect to eat on Spanish time, naturally. Expect to be treated well.
