Llar de Beniardà

Paco lives in a quiet and peaceful town next to the 'Embalse de Guadalest' an intriguing place in the mountains that has lots of mysterious but good vibes. El Llar de Beniarda has lots of accomodations and Paco has lots of patience and hospitality. We felt great and it was the perfect spot to discover the area, for example fonts d'Algar among others.

We were scared when arriving in town, the streets are so narrow and angular that driving through seems a miracle only the inhabitants of the area know how to properly deal with.

My stay here was amazing! This place feels like a 2nd home and it’s soooo pretty! The owners are really nice.

The location was good in terms of the Guadalest valley being so close. The bed was comfortable and the shower was very good. The room was very clean. The lady was very pleasant and helpful. The accommodation was very authentically Spanish.

The “balcony” was disappointing. We were unable to stand or sit on it. We chose the room for the balcony. No breakfast option was offered. The big orange street light outside the bedroom kept waking me up during the night. I felt the room was a little gloomy.

Feels like home as soon as you walk through the door…charming and clean with a wonderful host. Delicious breakfast.

Perfect. The location is obviously great but also the welcome was warm, there is a nice common area and we could even buy local wines & cheese. Which is just what we needed after a days' walk.

The location was amazingly beautiful in a small village in the mountains. The house itself was charming, decorated in lovely colours and very comfortable. We stayed in the biggest room with magnificant views from our roof terrace. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Fantastic breakfast in lovely surroundings, which included freshly squeezed orange juice, homemade jams and homegrown fruits, cheese, avocado and small cakes. We walked round the Guadalest reservoir, which is stunning and not a very difficult walk of about 10 km. We had an excellent inexpensive lunch at Mesón La Mezquita in the village.

Be aware that the village is very small and not everything is open, particularly the few restaurants. Own transport recommended - we arrived by bus and were very fortunate to be brought to and from Guadalest by a friendly shopkeeper and our hostess.
