Huy Trung Homestay

Everything! Huy Trung collected us from the bus stop and we enjoyed a delicious family dinner. We were given an upgrade to the Garden View room, spacious and simple elegance with windows to 2 sides, a view of the vegetable garden and mountain in the distance. We felt really comfortable and looked after. Easy walking distance to the centre (15 minutes). Huy Trung arranged ongoing transport to Sapa. So many lovely touches and details that you have to see and experience that made it a beautiful place to stay. I would godly l highly recommend it.

Nothing not to like!

I was travelling with my 14 yr old son. So we wanted to hame a family homestay wherever possible. We loved our 2 days with Trung, his family, and friendly Gucci, their dog. The homestay is in a quiet, local area. The beds and pillows were super comfy. Best we had in Vietnam. They were lovely, friendly people, and he helped organise our bus connections for the buses to Can Cau and Ha Giang. We enjoyed eating meals with the family, and it was easy walking to the market, cafes, and restaurants. Try and stay 2-3 days and do a hike or tour with Trung. We ran out of time but wished we had an extra day.

Best homestay on my 2-week Vietnam trip. Very clean, comfy. Super nice host, who is the owner and built the place himself. Yummy food.

There is not much to do in town, but great to stay if you are on a motorbike ride stopover, as I was.

At Huy Trung Homestay we stayed in the pine family room which was very spacious clean and light. The swimming pool was a bonus. Huy and his family made us feel very welcome. Guy is a man of the community and he showed us around Bac Ha, took us to a local Homestay for lunch and introduced us to many local people. We enjoyed dinner with Huy and his family. The photos on booking are a good representation of the property

Probably the best stay in all the north Vietnam. The family was very kind and made us feel at home. The room was incredible and very comfortable.

A little bit out of center… but they propose pick up (and is quieter). Probably one of the most expensive options in town. But totally worth it

Huy was also most helpful in sorting out our transport onto Hagiang. His car tour of the villages was excellent. The breakfasts and evening meals were also very good. Highly recommend this homestay Ian
