It could be a beter place if the owner is not lazy Ratings: 4 for communication in french should be english 1 for two persons asked for two towels but get one. 2 for furniture bathroom collapsed sad view do something about this. 3 for safety : room door and stairways handle not safe tight. 1 for fire escape safety: front door only locked by key ,in case of rush exit without key not possible. 4 for to be too lazy to cut the curtans I need to post this public so the owner takes action.

De communicatie met de beheerder ging goed. Voornamelijk in het Engels, maar de sleutelinstructies kwamen alleen in het Frans. Voor ons gelukkig geen probleem. Onze kamer, kamer 4 op de tweede verdieping, was ruim, maar een beetje minimaal ingericht. Gezien het feit dat wij deze kamer alleen maar nodig hadden om ongeveer drie uur op bed te kunnen liggen alvorens naar vliegveld CRL te gaan, was ook dat geen probleem. Het bed was best goed. De gedeelde badkamer op de eerste verdieping was wel in orde met een luxe douchecabine.

Wat wel een probleem was, was de kapotte trapleuning naar de tweede verdieping. Daar moet echt iets aan gedaan worden. Als je met een koffer de trap op of af moet, is het wel fijn als je een leuning hebt die je kunt gebruiken en dat was hier niet het geval.

The accommodation is clean and the rooms are spacius. It has a kitchen if you want to prepare your own food.

The location was not pleasant, the surroundings are really dirty with a lot of trash on the streets. Many things in the accommodation were broken and even hazardous, such as the stairway rails, door handles and sink table. My partner almost fell in the stairs, because he grabbed the rail that was loose. Additionally, you have to lock the front door with the key, some other guests didn't do it so the door ended up being open so anyone could get in.

Törölközőt nagyon hiányoltuk, ezt mindenhol szoktunk kapni. A szoba ablakát nem lehetett kinyitni, a levegőtlenség és fülledt meleg a szobában nagyon kellemetlen volt.

After this experience, any other accommodation will seem nicer and cleaner.

In our travel experience, we've slept in over 100 different accommodations throughout Europe, Africa, Asia, and South America. Yet, even in the poorest conditions, we've never seen accommodations in such a state of abandonment and filth. I won't go into details; I'll just describe what photos can't capture. We felt the need to sleep completely covered in our clothes, with T-shirts over the pillow. We used the bathroom as little as possible. I slept little because the bed was awkward and noisy, and there was no soundproofing between the rooms. Worst of all, our room (2) smelled terribly of cigarettes, truly disgusting. The fault certainly lies with the previous guests, who smoked in the room, but also with those who manage the facility. In fact, it's impossible they didn't notice the odor that has been permeating (for some time now) all the room's fabrics, from the bed to the curtains. Furthermore, the window in the room doesn't open: is this legal in Belgium? I don't think so!! We tried to blow the smell out the door with a fan, but it was useless. Never come here if you're a clean person, a light sleeper, a non-smoker, or can't stand cigarette smoke.
