Nongtao Homestay

Amazing place, very serene and secluded from the main town. Owners were so helpful and nice. They have a restaurant overlooking the rice fields, and bonfire as it was quite cold at the time of our visit. The place totally exceeed our expectations, and is value for money. It was like an adventure stay in the middle of village in mountains. Superb place

It was in a little village and surrounded by rice fields. 🤩 Room was nice and big. It was a homestay so it is very simply, but authentic. The cafe offered also some food in the evening and they really try to make whatever you like.

Shower and bathroom was very basic, but that is usual for a homestay, so all good.

A wonderful experience, clean , a great rural setting. Excellent wifi.

This is not a home stay! You stay in one of a bunch of sheds. There’s a little charm to the location but not enough to make up for the rest of it. When we arrived, we were followed down a dirt track by a lady on a moped. When we got out of the car we found that she did not speak any English and my Thai was insufficient to communicate with her. A written welcome pack would be helpful. We asked when breakfast would be served, and were told between 7 and 10. The following morning there was no breakfast. No way to contact anyone to find out where to get breakfast either. Very disappointed with this experience. If you’re looking for a home or farm stay experience, look elsewhere to avoid disappointment.

You are lost in the middle of the nature (rice fields) extremely resourcing, one of the best trip I made so far here, very difficult to go back to the cities after 😂

The simple life style of Karen people, makes everything so easy and peaceful. I feel closer to the nature while staying here, perfect place for soul healing.
