Nongtao Homestay

A wonderful quiet location, friendly hosts and a true experience of the Thai countryside. The accomodations are comfortable and the breakfast location is very scenic (note: as of July 2023 the lack of tourism means currently only breakfast is available, for lunch and dinner there are a variety of good restaurants in the area). The village is ideally located for visiting the Doi Inthanon park. We look forward to visiting again!

Very rural lovely location, relaxing

Big one for me was you had to walk 300yds to use the Wi-Fi. To me that seems deceptive that it does not state that in the room description. I was working and would of being impossible to manage in the area for Wi-Fi. I would not have booked if I knew that

Fantastic remote location (for nature lovers). Difficult to find though :D The houselord spoke pretty good english and was very nice explaining everything.

Breakfast could have something else besides plain rice with 2 eggs, having in account the same price of other hostels.

Nongtao homestay is an amazing place for people who like to spend time in nature and in the countryside. It's very rural and quite basic, but that's exactly what we liked about it. Hikers and bikers that are interested in exploring Doi Inthanon and the surroundings will have a great time here. Breakfast (usually rice and egg/omelette) is included in the price. The owner is very friendly.

There's only cold water showers, but you'll definitely feel awake afterwards! :D

The basic but traditional feeling that arose during the stay. Our absolute highlight was the breakfast place. -marvelous!
