Fantastic. Great place to stay. A huge Villa. The owner a real Gentleman. Next time again!!!

The house was big and it was well located if you have a rental car to move around.

Everything was filthy (specially the kitchen) and the owner was clearly unstable… From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, dirty dishes were left on the table and we even found a giant coackroch in our bedroom. The owner yelled at us while banging a door furiously for not being to careful when closing ours (there was an air current and it was 10 am in the morning). He also complained about us using “his” paper napkins. We felt really uncomfortable and unwelcome.

We booked last minute and had no problem to access to the accommodation It was clean, nicely located close to a beautiful natural sea pool 15mins from the airport and very cheap! awesome garden

The bed could be more confortable

It is a room in a very big and old house so consider all pros and cons living under the same roof with other tenants and the owner. Our room had a private bathroom. The owner was very kind and allowed us to use his kitchen and the utilities. There is a private parking. Generally the conditions correspond to the price so do not expect much from this place. But if you'd like to feel how it is to live in a real Azores mansion and how old Portugal furniture smells - it could be an interesting experience for a night or two.

The house needs a professional cleaning. The bed was as hard as a stone.

The parking spot inside, the house is really big and beautiful, right next to a parc. It's quiet at night and Rui makes sure everything is ok.

There were ants in the room.

Great location close to the airport, in the middle of the island so you can access all ( west, north, south, east) the parts of the island easily. You can just check through the window if Fogo mountain is cover by clouds and if it is not you can reach it within 25 mins car drive and enjoy the stunning view! Rui, the host is also very kind, hospitable and helpful. Hope to visit again some time soon!

Nice host and house with good potential. A bit of simple cosmetic renovation - which might already be in process by the looks of it, and it could be a very nice place to stay.
